Cleaning in Helena and Montana City
We work from Birch Street in Helena and head south to Montana City for jobs there too.
We are based on Birch Street in Helena, and we clean in town and down the road in Montana City. Helena has plenty of older houses near downtown, with wood trim and steep, narrow stairs that take longer to clean than they look. Montana City is more spread out, with houses on larger lots outside of town.
Older Helena houses hold on to dust
A lot of the housing near downtown Helena and on the west side went up long before anyone thought about easy cleaning. Tall baseboards, old window tracks, radiators and wood trim all catch dust, and the dry air keeps it moving around the house.
Winter adds another layer. Grit from the sanded roads comes in on boots and dog paws and works into the carpet by the door. That grey path from the entry to the kitchen is what a spring carpet clean is for, and a vacuum will not lift it.
Montana City houses sit on bigger lots
Montana City is a short drive south of Helena, and a lot of the houses there sit on larger lots with more ground around them. More ground means more mud and gravel coming inside, and spring snowmelt is the worst of it. The entry rug and the carpet just past it take most of the wear.
Outside, winter leaves a film of grime on walks and driveways. Once the snow is gone, we pressure wash them.
